My story about it:

My parents and grandparents (Trabert) were born in the village of Véménd in south Hungary. As a child, I often visited my cousins during summer holidays. The kindness of the people living there was always special to me.
I had the fortune to participate in the setting up of the exhibition about Véménd at Ulm. In the process, we found a historical photograph by Béla Hernai in the box where we keep our photographs. The photograph shows my grandfather (right) with his brother, sister and mother.
My grandparents lived there at the time and were part of this multi-ethnic village community.
