My object: my paternal grandmother’s prayer book
My story about it:

My grandmother (Erzsébet Pelcz, wife to Ádám Müller) was given this prayer book in 1934 for her 14th birthday by her godmother. It gave her strength during the difficult times of her life. The prayer book was displayed in a German-Hungarian travelling exhibition on the Germans of Hungary. The exhibition portrayed my grandmother as an example of the German-Hungarian lives and destinies. In its context, she told me many things and she also gave me this prayer book. For “some” reason, I feel that it belongs to me.
