Name: Lilla H.
Mother tongue: Hungarian
Occupation: Student
My object: embroidered shirt from Serbia
My story about it:

This shirt has never been worn by anyone. My grandmother, Jolán Tóth Bagi, embroidered this shirt in the college of education. It was an obligatory exam piece. She attended this college for two years, until the outbreak of World War II. Afterwards, she went to Budapest and attended the lyceum. She always kept this shirt, like a treasure because she made it herself. A few years ago, she gave it to me. By the way, my grandmother and I both come from Čantavir (Bačka, Vojvodina).
