Name: Denis D.
Mother tongue: Croatian
Occupation: Museum education officer
My object: spoon, fork and knife
My story about it:

When I try to think of a collective name for these three objects, the first thing that comes to mind is beštek or escajg /cutlery/. Me and my parents have German roots, but we do not consider ourselves as Germans. We were all born in Osijek and think of ourselves as Croats. But our German roots have influenced our family life. So we often use words of German origin in our family, or, rather, old Osijek expressions.
