My story about the object:

I bought this box at an antiquity fair in Los Angeles after several hours of business negotiations. It was carried as hand luggage all the way. The box is hand-made, about a hundred years old and manufactured somewhere between Mongolia and China. It has been used and continuously filled with new pieces ever since. I love this jewellery box – it has a special place on the shelf surrounded by candles and the look of them reminds me of the happiest times of my life.
