Name: Tímea M.G.
Mother tongue: Hungarian
Occupation: Looking for Work
My object: Box of Sake (Japanese Wine Rice Wine)
My story about it:
Two years ago, I attended a series of events on Japanese culture at the House of Arts in Pécs. Paper was their main focus. This box was waiting to be discarded next to a bin – or rather, it waited for me. The content had been emptied and the box had been left to its fate. I liked its shape, its colour, its feel, but also the fact that even though it was a simple packaging it followed a certain requirement (it seemed to me), a certain aesthetic – simply “Japanese”. I am interested in Japanese culture.
