Our object: broken tap
Our story about it:

Four months ago, we (Anna and Gábor) moved into a shared flat in Berlin, together with a French, a Japanese and a German. The kitchen is the place where we all meet. The broken tap had to be repaired at least twice a week. Often, the water sprayed through the holes – directly into our faces. Once we had sealed one hole we found another one.
Then one day, our flatmate from New Zealand bought a tap at the flea market. Since then, the water flows from the tap in the kitchen without any trouble. We have not thrown away the old tap, however, because it represents our common history.
