Name: Frank G.
Mother tongue: German
Occupation: Photographer
My object: Bututu
My story about it:
With the help of a Bututu, Incas were able to pass on information from one village to another acoustically. The Bututu survived the people of the Incas. It is still being used in the Peruvian highlands. This way, I heard its call.
My Bututu has seen four generations. It stays with me now because it calls me – sometimes without sound, sometimes very loudly. And before even realizing it, I have already left Germany. Finally!
