My story about it:
I found this book, when I was just freshly arrived in Berlin, nine years ago. At that time there was a Yiddish Music theater at the Hackesche Höfe. The owner let me watch for free. I like Yiddish songs, I understand the Schmerz – we have survived! I also like that this book was printed in the GDR. They did it seriously, as if out of duty.
