My object: Anel de tucum

When I dream alone, it is only a dream.
When we dream together, it is the beginning of reality.

My story about it:
Anel de tucum is a black ring made from the Amazon palm tree. It is a symbol of those who believe that one should stand for the poor and marginalized people.
For the Christians, it is a call to follow the example of Jesus and to promote human dignity with love. The ring condemns the causes of poverty and everything that represses and alienates mankind.
The ring also represents the alliance of those who fight for justice and participate in pastoral social organizations and movements.
This symbol of solidarity, loyalty and commitment can be seen on the hands of many people from north to south Brazil, Latin America and Europe.
I wear Anel de tucum because I believe that a different world is possible.
