My object: glass bowl from Finland, made by a glass artist, single copy
My story about it:
The first time I went to Finland was at the age of 15 as a chorister. I am Protestant; therefore, I was immediately fascinated by the Finnish Puritanism, this simple elegance, the use of substantial pastel colours and the practical beauty of their articles for everyday use. I was given this bowl by Finnish friends of mine. Since then, I have been able to work with a master of glass myself. And this is how I began to like objects made from glass.
